<p>Do you have to be accepted early to get a Dean's scholarship? or can you be accepted in the normal wave and still get it??</p>
<p>Well on my scholarship letter, it said that 18% of the usc incoming freshmen are receiving a dean's scholarship. This leads me to believe they already have chosen who is going to receive it. </p>
<p>But who knows! You never really know w/colleges.</p>

<p>I was accepted early and I just got my Dean's Honor letter too. It's quarter tuition, about $10,000 per year. I also got an invite to apply for the honors program and the science honors program. I don't know if I can do both or what....</p>
<p>Yea Dean's is quarter. I'm just happy that it's something ya know? Like, we worked too hard in H.S. to not get recognized for merit. </p>

Cause so far all I've gotten when I click "Reserve" are dates to visit in April and there's been no mention of any scholarship. If you guys had this previously, does it now indicate that you have gotten a scholarship, or is it still the same?</p>
<p>ycang, scholarship letters come by regular mail, not DHL for internationals.
since Dean's scholarships do not require an interview, there won't be any change on Explore but maybe on the Oasis account, it will show the scholarship.</p>

-Acceptances postmarked 1/24-1/27... (?)
-Acceptances postmarked 1/28 received Deans Scholarship (quarter), </p>
<p>... and no other acceptances have been postmarked since 1/28???</p>
<p>Is there anyone with any first hand knowledge to correct or add to this?</p>
<p>I'm an international with acceptance postmarked 1/28. I just got an email outlining how to acknowledge my receipt for the Dean's. I haven't got my letter for Dean's yet, but since this is official USC email, it's pretty certain I have received the Dean's Scholarship.</p>
<p>Hey sitk same here I just received an email this morning telling me i got the Dean's! Looks like 1/28 acceptances are mostly gonna be Dean's. I should be receiving the letter soon :)</p>
