Accepted into competitive Major but haven't heard from General Admission?

<p>I am a Fall 2014 transfer student who got accepted into the Public Health program for Fall 2014 a week ago. I have no idea how "competitive" it is. I just know that it is a "competitive" major according to the UW and Department websites. I still haven't heard back from the General Admission or received the famous gold "Big Envelope" yet. Have you or anyone you know been in a situation like this before? I know that it is still May and most people kept telling me that there is still batches of letters coming soon. </p>

<p>But I would still like to make a back-up plan! Appeal letters? Contact the Admission office?</p>
