Well, I've officially been accepted to UCF for the Fall 2009 Semester.
I'm left with a sense of confusion as to what I should be doing now however.

I sent in my $200 enrollment deposit form.
I just finished filling out the application for the Burnett Honors College that I received.
I accepted a Pegasus Gold Scholar scholarship online. (This is for $10,000 over 4 years correct?)

I know that I need to fill out a FAFSA form, but I'm not sure as to when I do that.
I also know that I need to complete the immunization form eventually.
And once Bright Futures begins accepting applications I'll be doing that as well

Other than that, are there any other pressing matters I should be attending to as a high school senior?

At the beginning of December you will need to go online and fill out an application for housing. They will require a deposit but if you have florida prepaid dorm, they will cover the deposit.

I believe you can do the FAFSA form beginning Dec. 1st or 31st. (Check that LOL; can't seem to remember) Your parents will probably have to help you with that form, as there are a lot of questions pertaining to their last fiscal year of taxes. Do not wait to fill out the form until after they do this years taxes; the form accepts info from last years taxes. If there is a significant change after they file their new taxes you can update your info. Assuming it's the same as it was when my son joined Burnett, you need to make sure that you send in the honors congress fee. That's what holds your place for the honors program. You should receive info on that.

I second the recommendation to apply for housing. Check their website and do it as soon as you can so you get a good spot. I believe Tower 3 is for Burnett Honors College students.

Not much yet....just housing app and FAFSA in December. Don't know much more about scholarships, but other than that there isn't all that much you need to do till late Spring.

You're ahead of the game, MyUCF and things in the mail from the school will let you know when you need to have things done. You're not completely on your own for figuring things out.

As for what you should be doing... don't let your grades slide. That's the biggest mistake accepted seniors make.

Unless you want on campus housing, the application cycle starts in Decmeber and you'll most likely be on a waitlist if you do not let UCF know until March.
