Do you think I have a chance to be accepted to this school, if you believe I can get accepted and that there is a high possibility, what do you I will get in regards to financial aid/scholarships (Parents combine to make less then 80,000 dollars a year)

I read an article about how if you have a single B on your transcript, you can forget about Caltech. I'm sure it's at least slightly exaggerated, but I'm throwing it out there. The article was about Caltech's 22-year losing streak in men's basketball or something. So whereas you definitely have trends of improving grades, I don't know if it matters that much for Caltech.

On the other hand, your extra-curriculars are very impressive. But.. I don't see much math/science at all. Why do you want to go to Caltech for business?

I agree with mathwiz: your interests in languages and sports won't be satisfied here, let alone your interest in business. I do know one (1) guy who came here intending to study business, and it's not that the program is bad, but the reality is that most business majors here chose that path because they couldn't stand physics anymore. Sort of like how no one comes for an English degree, but some people end up leaving that way.

If you do decide to apply and are admitted, I would expect the financial aid package to be entirely based on need. Don't take it personally: the Axline merit scholarships tend to go to people with research experience. However, if you can argue for some sort of strange ethnicity, you could get one of the full-ride minority scholarships. One guy here was Egyptian, and because he wrote "African-American" down as his ethnicity, got a great aid package - despite being white as milk and upper-middle class. (Not an uncommon theme for our "minorities," actually.) If you're a first-generation American citizen (and not Asian-American), I would play that up too.

I'd also guess denied since it's really a math and science school and not one for business. Maybe try one of the more traditional business schools. Or, if you're interested in a school great in both engineering/science and business, try out CMU. I had some friends that did a dual degree there in business and a tech related field and they felt it was great.

I really do not think you would be happy here. If you go to Caltech, you will be deeply immersed in science and math. Unless some form of science, math, or technology is your major focus, you should not even apply.
