Home-schooled

This is very exciting!

I suppose this is the official decisions thread now.

I got my packet today! It made me SOOO happy. I got a special note from the dean of admissions saying how much she enjoyed reading my file, the Harvey S. Mudd Merit Award, and a travel voucher so I can afford to go to California!

SAT I: 2400
SAT IIs: 800/800/760
GPA: 4.0 uw
etc.

I had previously written Harvey Mudd off as a school I wouldn't attend, but this bit of mail reminded why I applied in the first place.

Congratulations on your son, reasonabledad! Will he be attending the Admitted Student Program?

We don't know just yet...still trying to figure out what's what. Son actually had not been confident he would be accepted.

waitlisted

i got ... waitlisted

nothing today... when did it come for you all and where do you live?

Hi I was wait listed too, i have some decent stats including 760 math and 800 math level 2. Does anyone know anybody who was rejected rather than wait listed? Or is it just their nice way of saying "no thanks."

I think probably around 200 people are waitlisted, so there are probably people who were rejected.

On another note, I can't find my major listed on any of the papers. Anyone else? Does the cover of the folder have anything to do with it?

You dont officially declare a major until junior year.
