Oh wow, Italy, that's awesome. I've only been out of the country once, on a three-week trip in England and Spain, so it's possible I have no idea what I'm wanting to get myself into, but it sounds amazing to me. Why did you live in Italy? And, yeah, the cost of everything I want is outrageous; my parents told me flat-out that I'm crazy to think we can afford that, but, well, you can't blame a girl for trying!

I lived in Italy because my dad is in the Navy so we were stationed over there but he is out now. But hey, if you really want to go somewhere, you could always take out loans or apply for a million scholarships lol

That's pretty cool. And, yeah, that's the plan :-) But there's still only so much I can do, sadly.

That's true, what is a realistic amount that somebody could take out in student loans?

I'm not sure. It would depend on what different sources would give you a loan, and I read that loans are getting harder to come by since the financial crisis. I still think it could be possible, though, working and taking out loans and stuff, but I guess there is a balance to how much I'm willing to take on versus what I'm getting out of it. Not sure what that is yet, though...

Yay! I got my letter today! I got a Presidential Scholarship. I have to say, even though I probably won't go here, it is REALLY nice to have the security of knowing I"m going somewhere.

I told you that you would get the Presidential. Why not go there now? It's full tuition and it's a pretty good school. It's always a good option to have.

It's definitely a good option to have. I'm going to wait and see what other offers I get, but there is definitely a chance I'll end up here in the fall.
