Accepted Student Day

Hey! Accepted Student Day the 10th to the 11th who's going??? :-)

I am! I got my packet with the MHC hat today. =)

My roommate and I are hosting - maybe we’ll get one of you! =)

I am! I’m actually going to be there from the 8th to the 11th.
I’m so ridiculously excited >_<

Does the invitation for the Admitted Students Day come in a separate packet than the official acceptance letter/packet? We received the acceptance letter with financial aid information but it did not contain anything about admitted students day. Since we live so far from MHC, it would be nice to have details well ahead of time.

Wow we get a hat?? Thats so awesome! I’m so excited for this  and jakally, I got mine in a seperate envelope, I got it a few days later I believe… I hope I get to meet you guys while we’re there!

It’s been over a week, and we still have not received it. I think we got a smaller envelope for parents with general info but no hat and no info about admitted students day… Maybe I am just paranoid.

Mmm maybe give it until Tuesday, that’ll give the mail some time to work out itself… If not after that then perhaps explore the website and it’ll have information?

I haven’t gotten the hat, but I’m enrolled for the admitted student day. What it’s like to stay overnight?

@purplefishii: I’m going to be there from the 8th through the 11th as well!! I was super excited when I got my hat :stuck_out_tongue:
@Jakally: Did you register for the event? Because I got an itinerary and schedule and stuff in my packet

SOO EXCITED TO MEET ALL OF YOUU!! :D

@ready2011: It’s really awesome to do an overnight. Its like getting to actually experience the college beyond what the Admissions office shows you. It’s just awesome I hope you enjoy it

I am so excited to meet all of you!

I’m going! I’m so excited and can’t wait to meet everyone! :)

There are 2 programs, including a pre-Experience program, Experience Diversity. Not everyone received a hat – only those traveling to campus on their own so they can find other travelers at the airport and so our shuttles can identify the guests. All guests will receive a reminder about the program via email at the end of this week.

I’m going! Can’t wait to meet everyone. Any spring admits going to be there?

There are only 2 days left until Friday (not counting today) and I do not have my packet. How many luggage do you girls have? I have a small “suitcase” and my sleeping bag. Is that too much? I am also planning on bringing a purse or small backpack. My mom is afraid that the group arriving with me will leave me behind if I have to pick up my bags. I am pretty nervous about flying alone…

@chillievon123: I’m bringing a small check-in so that i can fit in my pillow and sleeping bag and all my clothes. Is that too much? And im bringing a backpack so that I can take my laptop. And also, don’t worry, your group wont leave without you, if anything they would leave me behind because I have to wait for check-in D:

Do you guys think that bringing a check-in is too much?

Nah, I don’t think so. I’m bring my sleeping bag and small luggage so I’m checking in as well (: I’m also going to have a carry on messenger bag as well.
Are we supposed to check in online our tickets the day before we leave?

Hmm, I don’t have a sleeping bag. At other college overnights I never brought one either…do you think I can get away with not buying one?

Anywho, the hat was such a lovely surprise (it literally made my day when I opened the squishy packet) and I can’t wait for MoHo :)

@ pinklilyflower and @ purplefishii: Okay. So am I. I am always the one that is over-the-top for being “too prepared” and end up bring much more than others. Glad that we have the same amount  I called the airline today and they said yes. My airline is Southwest, but I think other domestic flights are the same: 24 hours before your flight, go to your airline’s website, check in, and print out your confirmation. Bring the confirmation sheet with you to the airport.

Thanks! Yeah, I usually bring nall the necessities for setting up a colony on an island. umbrella? check. sunblock? check. missed homework that I won’t be able to do anyway? check. makeup stash? check. five-room tent? check.

hahah you get the point. I have to really restrain myself from packing alot this time though :x
