Feb 16th is one of them.

my parents want me to wait to go to an accepeted students day until i hear from my other schools. does anyone know if the people accepted EA are also invited to the RD days?

why do they want you to wait? going to an accepted students day definitely doesn't rope you in to anything--until you sent back that little postcard on may 1, nothing's final.

i personally went to every event they invited me to (i live close to chapel hill), just so i could get an excuse to skip a day of school & get some free food ;)

i live in the northeast and we would fly in so it's not as convenient. they want me to wait and look at aid packages because if they don't give me some good money then it's not even possible. so visiting would be a waste

ohh gotcha--that makes sense. not worth taking a trip unless it's actually possible for you to attend (i know the feeling--i visited wellesley, fell completely in love, and then was devastated when it was just economically impossible).

swoopes2 - I called them today because I am in the same situation, and the admissions office told me that they invite EA acceptees to register for the later accepted days after the RD people have had a chance, assuming there's room. The only problem is I have no idea if the RD days fill up or not...
