Got into the Nursing school! anyone else?

My D got in last wk. Have not seen UCONN yet. I'm told it is so large she may not like it. Any info on this?

large and in the middle of nowhere, but the campus is nice

Large at first glance. After a few days of being here it gets small, everything is relatively close. If you cross campus from the two most distant points its about 15 minutes walking time. For most freshmen classes are about 1 or 2 min away (depending on where you live and your major). For example if you live in North, and take science classes you walk across the street. About 2 minutes of walking time. If you take classes far away usually you walk is about 10 min. But there are buses. The middle of nowhere part really doesnt matter either, since there is plenty to do on campus.

I was accepted EA for UCONN as a commuter, but due to a change in my living arrangements I will need to now stay on campus. Have anybody ever heard of them allowing you to get housing once they have accepted you as a commuter?

What are my next steps? Is it too late to apply for housing? Will they revoke my acceptance because I now need housing???
