I don't know if the college was like D: or :D it is still odd. The college was my safetiest of safeties, but I was flattered to get such a rapid response lol. Has this happened to anybody else though? The college is Newbury College in Massachusetts btw.

This is not unusual, especially with places that have a clear formula for admission.

Congratulations on your admission!

It happened to my D also at UVM, not quite as fast though. She sent the app in on Sunday and got an acceptance on Thursday lol. She said they were literally emailing her everyday for 3 months because they had sent her a vip application.

I agree with it not being unusual. Thanks for the congrats. Also UVM is pretty good to get into under a week’s notice, especially since it is somewhat well-known…
my friends had to wait a month :(

Yeah, D said that the vip apps had rolling admissions so thats why it was so fast. It was not a safety for her, that’s the strange part. It was more of a target. No money was offered so probably won’t go there.

LOL i just got accepted today and i applied without SAT scores tuesday

wait. for University of Vermont? they gave you a VIP application or using the common app?

It is quite common with few universities.
In fact I received admissions from
University of Bristol and
University College, London
With 4 or 5 days of submission of AFs
Congrats my friend
