Accepted to George Mason - now, how to pay!

Does anyone know if George Mason gives instate rates to OOS students who represent the school in activities, such as debate?

I know several SC schools do this, but it's on a case by case basis. Any ideas how I could find out this info?

Thanks,

Call their financial aid office. Often state schools have a limited number of out-of-state waivers, which they typically use on international students and recruited athletes - not usually on less public things like debate.

Thanks, I'll do that. Right now I am busy with your excellent link to the ACM info. I had never heard of it.

We are in GA as well, and I hate losing HOPE by going OOS...

So far, she was accepted into the astronomy program at GMU. GA Tech offers that as well, but we don't know her status, and it is a stretch. Do you know if ACM takes not getting into an instate school into consideration when the program is offered in both the in and OOS schools?

Thanks,
