I didn’t expect the response to be so fast but I got my acceptance email from San Jose State in California. Not exactly thrilling but good to know I guess.

<p>I was accepted to San Francisco State university after like 2 weeks of waiting back in December, and it was at the bottom of my list. But now as time has passed I have been thinking more and more about it and it is definately in the running. I am just waiting on the other schools..</p>
<p>Yeah I only applied to SJSU because I live in the area...all other schools I am interested in are UCs. So now we play the loooooong waiting game.</p>
<p>I live in NJ so the fact that it is near such a nice city is a big incentive. Every day passes I want to go there and see how it is. I am visiting over spring break.</p>

<p>platinumtlc, I live in San Francisco, and my high school is almost next door to SF State, so I'm familiar with the area. It's not the most exciting neighborhood in the city, but public transportation here is pretty fast, so you can get downtown in about 15 minutes. I have friends who go to SFSU and like it; it seems like there's always something going on since it's such a big school. Hope you enjoy your visit. Let me know if you have any questions.</p>

<p>Yeah I love like the city, I'm like 30 minutes from NYC and I love going there. San Fran seems like the total opposite but still just as busy. It's hard to think about so I'm trying to wait til my other schools respond. And I want it to be big because I want to meet new people like everyday and I dont want to get tired of the same boring stuff.</p>
<p>I have to agree with themockery on this one. I also have a lot of friends who go there and are having a blast. Not a bad safety school at all!
Also, themockery, what school do you go to in the city? I hope you don't mind that I'm asking.</p>
