Accepted to only 2/3 of NB schools I applied..

I found out yesterday that I was accepted to SAS and engineering but pharmacy is still "in process"....

:( i applied on 10/13
& i just saw someone's post that they applied on 10/29 and was accepted to pharmacy yesterday

does this mean i'm rejected.... :(

They’re probably still checking out your app. After all, the pharmacy school is the most competitive school of Rutgers’s. And I’m pretty sure that if you were rejected, it would say “not admitted” instead of “in process”

I saw this same thing. The pharmacy school is competitive so that is why they are probably taking longer with apps.

No, I applied to Pharm and it initially said “In Process”, but it changed last night so admitted so you’ll be fine imo.

Man I’m in the same situation as you! I got into the SAS and school of enviro and biologial sciences, but my pharm decision is still “in progress”? I’m just guessing that they’re still reviewing your application. </p>

Are you OOS or INS? I’m really worried that they’ll refuse me just because I’m OOS.

i’m instate haha

sadisticvendetta
do you mind telling me ur stats?
i got a 2020 on the SAT and had a gpa of 3.81
is that good? or bad?

4.0 weighted; 2320 SAT

2020 is a pretty low score to be competitive enough for a Pharm spot imo
You could probably speed up the process if your turned in any science SAT subjects or AP science exam scores.

From a notice I saw somewhere on the Pharm website, it seems they only really look at scores then grades - correct me but I doubt they’ll cast much of an eye at anything else on the app unless you are right at the cutoff point way later in the process.

To get admitted this early in the process, I’d guess you would have to be north of 2200 somewhere with grades to match.

Schools never look at scores before grades (relative to your peers and ap classes). The people admitted already are pretty much all in the top quarter of the admitted class (above 2200 SAT, equivalent GPA and rigor).

Okay I got in last Friday with a 2170 - 770 CR 690 M 710 W (yeah I’m really unasian). It took a whole month for me to get accepted too. Don’t panic immediately about your 2020; there are people who end up getting in with below 2000s. I definitely do not think you will get rejected, you seem more on the road to being waitlisted.

thank u for the feedback
yeah probably i’m not ready for this school…
