yeah i’m still in process. i don’t care if i get accepted or not, but i do want the status to change mainly because it’s an eyesore to the two other school’s acceptance, and i don’t want to keep on checking lol. :P

lol I know how you feel, I check my status every morning. It says my stuff is received through 1/06/11, but still no update. I got accepted to SAS and got a scholarship for that school, but I’m not interested in going to Rutgers for biochem. I just put it as a second major because I didn’t feel like leaving it blank.

I just wonder if they’re taking so long because they’re on the fence or because they’re saving the rejections for last. Hopefully, it’s the first one. lol

Either way, this wait time feels wayy too long for early action.

i am too, what are your guys’ stats?
i already have 3 ppl accepted from my school and they all have sats above 2100 and class of 5 percent, but only one really wants to go.

There’s around 15+ or so from my school accepted to RU Pharm. But a majority of them don’t even want to go. They all have scores over 2200 and very high GPAs.

I’m not sure if anyone else in my school applied to Rutgers pharm.

My stats:
1320/1990
W GPA: 4.1 out of 4.0 scale. Unsure about unweighted, but pretty good transcript.
I had pretty decent ECs and great recommendations, but I heard those don’t matter as much.

It’s probably the lower end SAT score that’s keeping me on the fence, but I did take it only once if that counts for anything. Sighh probably should have retaken it lol.

i’m OOS and basically no one at my school applies to rutgers lol.
i heard they give people with higher stats admission sooner but i have a 3.8 UW 4.8 W, school doesn’t rank guessing somewhere in top 10%, and 2250 SAT, 790 sat math2, 760 sat bio i guess since they have to process such a large volume of apps it takes time. emailed them a few days ago to ask if i omitted anything but haven’t heard back yet.

I applied in November and I’m still in processing too!
I just wish i could know, rejected or accepted, so I can start to make decisions and relieve some stress.

heres my stats:
SAT: 1360/1910
GPA UW:3.7
Class: top 15%
A.P. Credits in English Comp and Bio

I got a 1990 on my SAT’s with 5s on the Chem and Calc BC. Some very good extracurriculars but for Rutgers that doesn’t really matter. I applied very late, almost missed the deadline. I was hoping to get in, but it was a reach so I guess it made sense, but then I found out other people got in from my school with much lower stats so I was a little confused but I’m perfectly happy now.

@011lxu- Congratulations!!! I am also wondering if your status also changed? Because I received a letter as well, but it mentioned nothing abut my major.

@mets4life- Your stats seem similar to mine. That’s weird how other people got in with lower stats than you. But I’m glad you’re happy now and that it worked out for you eventually.

@phoenixakari Well before coming to Rutgers I was wishing to major in Toxicology/Pharmacist, Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering. Since I got rejected, that pretty much made my decision to go to the School Of Engineer. I did not apply anywhere else but RU haha.

@highachiever793 Thanks. It was a little weird but I think it’s because many of those people had siblings in the program, so I think that might have helped, not completely sure.
