<p>Just another reassurance -- son applied by scholarship deadline, got a letter some time in early March saying he had not gotten any scholarships, but acceptance was still being considered, and got accepted in late March.</p>
<p>Yes! I got in today. I live in Michigan and I don't think I will be going to USC but I'm so happy to have gotten in.</p>

<p>I saw a huge envelope in the mail today, and I was so excited thinking it was from USC. Too bad it wasn't - it was from OSU.</p>

<p>We in Southern California are still waiting. We assume at this point our daughter did not get the big scholarship as we have received nothing and can not log in yet. I tried to log in at the reservation site. Is there any where else to log in and check your application status?</p>
<p>you can log in to gateway to see the documents that they have received thus far, but it has come up quite a few times that gateway isn't very reliable and doesn't really tell you much. There is no online decision notification, thus just have to wait for the mail to arrive! the last wave was sent out last Friday. So I'd expect it in about a week or so for the next wave?</p>
<p>^Gateway is definitely not reliable. All it had under my "recieved" items was AP scores...haha pretty arbitrary. Also you'll tend to get your acceptance in the mail before you will be able to check online if CC is an indication of...everybody.</p>

<p>Does anyone know about this? My s got acceptance letter today (Utah). The letter was dated Feb. 2, last Friday. He cannot log in to the caravan site for the admitted students yet. What can we expect as this point? Any scholarship possibilities? </p>

<p>Someone called admissions and said you should be able to log on to the Caravan site tomorrow, and that people who recieved their letters in the "second wave" (Sat. and Mon.) are probably up for some kind of scholarship (like Dean's), but not Pres. or Trustee. </p>
<p>Scholarship letters always come after the acceptance.</p>
<p>The best thing to do is call and inquire specifically. Admissions doesn't seemed peeved about these kinds of questions.</p>

<p>Just some stats from my USC letter: 17,000 people applied in December. 1,200 people are being considered for Trustee/Presidential. </p>
<p>And out of the total number of people who will be accepted (8,400), 15% have been notified of being accepted.</p>
<p>thast is the letter I got. Also I am now wondering if these 1200 do not get the scholarships then they will get the other ones. I mean the dean's etc. If so will that leave anything for the rest of us..</p>
<p>So I'm kind of curious, if 15% of the possible 8400 have been notified that would be around 1260 people they have notified?</p>
<p>But then 1200 are being considered...so then I guess I am part of that 60 people who have been notified and aren't being considered? haha that seems kind of disappointing to me, missed it by a little bit?</p>
<p>I doubt you guys won't have anything..they seriously have so many scholarships..plus a lot of people don't end up accepting anyways? But good luck! I know I need $$ to go too!</p>
