Hi! I was accepted to Vassar early decision yesterday, and hopefully, if you’re reading this, you were too.
I wanted to start this thread so those who were accepted ED can chat and potentially make friends early-on. I’m far from New York, so I definitely won’t be seeing anyone I know at Vassar, which probably goes for the majority since Vassar attracts people from a large variety of places. It would be wonderful to meet people now rather than go in knowing no one.
So if you want to chat, please post! Introduce yourself, tell us your planned major, intended clubs, etc. I’d love to meet future classmates.
Hi! Congrats on getting accepted! I’m from NY, but especially since I’m not going too far from home I’m really excited to meet people from other places! I’m not sure what I want to major in - a few months ago I thought I was set on one thing, but now I’m just excited to explore all the amazing options we will have at Vassar, from Cognitive Science to International Studies to Sociology. In terms of activities, I definitely want to join a choir, play chamber music, and maybe audition for an a cappella group. I also hope to get involved with campus activism, dance, and maybe contribute to a publication or radio station.
I don’t use Facebook, so a groupme sounds wonderful. I’m not opposed to giving out my number either if any of you want to communicate through actual text.
