I gott accepted to Ga tech into Electrical Engineering with a 650 math and 570 verbal
a 3.4 GPA when my first transcript was sent out, and a 3.7 by mid year
i feel as it is a gift that they have given me to have a chance to go to their college.....i have a hard time deciding between ga tech and SUNY Binghamton.....Binghamton costs 15k Less, and the graduation rates are much higher
GA Tech has lots of drop outs, failures, and extremely low graduation percentage...with that said almost everyone has a difficulty maintaining a 3.0 most of them have 2.0s to 2.8;s....i dont know what to do or where to go
but i was deciding just go to my state school (Binghamton) and get a high GPA and later go for my masters at Ga Tech .....or...................does anyone else have a plan? where should i go

This is pretty much what I've gathered.. but if you're possessing good work ethic and / or naturally get math and science.... also if you're not huge into parties and stuff... go to tech.

I'd transfer if I were you. It is much easier to take on a state university and know your limits there first and then tackle a harder obstacle later on, rather than taking on the harder obstacle and risking the chance of wasting time and money. I'm not saying you can't do it, I'm just saying it would be safer not to. Definitely knowing its easier to graduate from your state university plus the fact that it costs 15 thousand less is a HUGE factor - 15 thousand a year? That's crazy. You'd work your butt off or either take a loan and work your butt off later to pay it back, considering you successfully made it through GT. Well that's just my two cents.
