Accepted!

The tracker changed to a short version yesterday, just “everything is in,” then this morning we saw the acceptance. S applied to Food Sci in CFANS, which is a pretty small major, so I think that’s why he heard so quickly. OOS (TN), 3.6/4.2, 27 ACT, 9 APs, a couple of non-academic type clubs. Financially, not sure if this will work, but I’m happy S has the option.

Good luck to everyone!!

Good for him ! Its nice to have an acceptance on the books so early.

Actually, it’s the 4th, and probably last one. ISU, UNL, UT-K, and now UMN. Sooooo different from the process for my CS major S16 (Purdue), who applied to 10 schools and had to wait it out until Feb for all his decisions.

Congrats s16s18s21s25. My Son got admitted to ChemE. OOS (TX), 3.93/4.63, 1480 SAT, 12 APs.

@s16s18s21s25 @msr2017 Congratulations! The application tracker was a little wonky for us this morning, but when we finally got in, good news for my son as well.

She received her acceptance today. Her stats are listed below.

My daughter was also accepted this morning to the College of Liberal Arts and Freshman Nursing Program. Her tracker changed yesterday to “all of your required application materials have been received by the deadline” and this morning it changed to accepted, so that must be the pattern this year.

congrats to the future nursing students - that news used to arrive a bit later in the process so you must be glad to have heard back so quickly.

D accepted today- Carlson School of Management, applied 9/26, in state. Love a school that gives acceptances on a rolling basis!

S was accepted a while back but is still getting emails every few days asking him to apply. They need to coordinate their email lists.

@s16s18s21s25 we have experienced the same, plus regular mail, from several schools D has already applied or been accepted to and thought the same.
