thats about it, any question just ask, ill check in periodocially, but wanted to post as a comparison for yall…

oh ya i got my app in jan. 30 got reply feb.23. so about a month i guess

Good Luck to all of yall

Congratulations. Good SAT scores too.

Congrats! You pretty much rock when it comes to standardized tests, don't you?

LOL u got saved by the SAT scores so congrats man.

lol no, im just horribly lazy, i dont do homework, because i feel it is unnecessary, and i just study the night before the test with my group. On test i own like 90s+, but on hmwrk, my average is like a 60, so it pwns my GPA. Meh, w.e. Any questions just ask, got some scholarship stuff in the mail, but not horribly alot like 8k renewable a year, which almost covers out of state tuition.

TDRAG, I am sorry to say, but your SAT scores are low compared to other students at OSU.

With your score, you would've only gotten the Provost Scholarship, which is only worth $2,400 a year (although better than nothing).

DefTech, don't be so critical. Some of us are proud of oue 30-31 ACT range... points toward self An ACT of 31 ain't bad when there are 50,000 kids at the college you applied to.

low sats? are you kidding me?

geezus, not everyone can get a 2300-2400 on the SATs or a 33-36 on the ACTs!

hell, my scores are ridiculously (sp?) lower and i got in (not to mention, i'm out-of-state and asian..who can't do math)

congrats TDRAG on getting in

heh thanks

joke
"An asian that can't do math? Isn't that a paradox?"
joke

I think DefTech was just trying to let other students know what the general range of SAT scores are for students at OSU. It would be a shame is someone with similar scores saw this thread, assumed that they were a shoe-in as well, and then were very disappointed. Pretty much everyone in the Honors program has above a 30 ACT (what is the new requirement for this incoming class? My class had a lower cutoff), but that doesn't make it any less of a great score. It is just very typical of students at OSU. Because we are the greatest school, ever. : )

The new Honors requirement was a 29 for 2007 Freshmen.

well TDRAG i'm half asian and half white (on applications, i put down asian when i dont have the "other" option)..so i guess i didnt get the superb math skill genes

lol i was just having fun, but genetics prevails again! what do white people get?... good bsing skills? good slacker skills? i forgot, and im white, i should know, anyone help me out.

btw im not applying for honors, i just applied to the school, but maybe ill try to go for honors after a year, if i go there, still praying for UT=Austin, which is highly unlikely =./

TDRAG, I'm not sure you can fall into Honors at OSU because of the required number of honors units that must be completed in (I believe) freshman and sophomore year.

So you got a 31 ACT and about a 1400 SAT? Out of 36 and 2400?

tdrag, of course i knew you were kidding...too bad the internet cant pick up witty-ness and whatnot
