For Student Applying: Don't Worry SO Much!

I am a first year student right now in OSU. These were my stats as a High School Senior:

3.5 GPA
1630 SAT
Never took the ACT
Ranked 17/365 seniors in HS
Varsity Wrestling
Worked at Burger King for 2 years
*Only did a couple hours of community service
*Only did 2 or 3 non-school activities

With these statistics, I got my acceptance notice quickly and received the Morrill Scholarship. I lived out-of-state in Texas, but since i earned the MS, I only have to borrow $1,500 each year. I am not trying to tell you to slack off, but I rather you not be so stressed out. So read this and hopefully you guys will feel a lot better about getting accepted.

i applied already, and i am still waiting for my decision. some of my friends have already heard from them during the break. i am getting nervous now

well do u think ur transcript is equal or better to mine? give me ur stats......

Thank you this actually did help me out after seeing all these posts of people with 4.0's asking people to chance them.

3.7-3.8 UWGPA, but a 24 ACT. ok amount of EC's and service hours. had a job for two year. but the ACT part is killing me....

yea lol..i hated seeing that...cuz i knew from experience u didnt have to be freakin albert einstein in high school to get accepted...

im not very familiar with the ACTs, but that GPA alone will make the admissions office smile..plus you have community service and EC's, so if you dont get accepted, then Kevin Federline is a good husband...lol...

im hoping that my amount of EC's and service hours will help out my 3.3-3.4 gpa since I dont know how much they factor in the ranking of the highschool

has anyone gotten rejected yet?
