Anyone feeling scholarships or no?

I know the offers are on their way or watnot, just wondering if anyone could give me an idea on how much merit (if any) i would receive at osu. Also how is their need based aid?

first of all congrats!!!
second, do you know when the academic scholarship offers are made?..because I already recieved my acceptance letter but nothing came with it.

Right back at ya with the congrats...but no I don't. I assume they come soon as the acceptance letter said we would be detailed on everything "in the next several days" but it has been like a week and i have gotten nothing back....So idk. Let me know if you find out

You are going to be waiting a while. Financial awards are not made until spring - last year the award letters came out the first week of April. The Maximus competition is held in the spring and Maximus decisions come out in March. FAFSA forms are not even due until February, I think. So I wouldn't expect anything official about financial aid or merit scholarships until April 1st. Acceptance fees are then due by May 1st.

check out this thread...they should be coming soon

"waiting for a whille"....."they should be coming soon" hmmmmm confused...

You're right that some notifications for the basic scholarships (Provost, Trustee, National Buckeye for OOS, etc.) come out earlier and that would give you a starting point on what you might expect. I was speaking about the actual award letter, which is the official summary of merit and financial aid that is being offered by OSU. That doesn't come out until April after the FAFSA filings, Maximus, etc. Sorry for any confusion. I have an old brain. :)

haha its okay no worries... I get it now thanks for the clarification :D
