Accepted!!!!!

Accepted!Accepted!Accepted!

I just found out that I have been accepted by UC DAAP: Industrial Design. Can't believe it! It's just too good to be true! Now I'm half way to DAAP! I guess I'll just have to wait and see how the financial aid goes... (Cincinnatus or grants hopefully, finger crossed!)

Here is my status in case anyone is wondering...

SAT:1950 (CR590 M800)
GPA:3.9
Class rank: 10/41 (158/767)
School: Tainan Girls' School (located in Taiwan, very high competetive school, has to be top 3% or 4% in Tainan, Taiwan.)

I suppose I have a fine EC.

Thanks for every help everyone gave me in CC!

But still, I am very curious about the time UC post the good news. I have checked my status this morning, this noon and this afternoon. The time I found out I was accepted was about 7pm. But that's like 5 in the morning in US!!!

Congrats on your acceptance to DAAP. It is considered one of the harder schools to get into for ID.

Cincinnnati is generally less expensive than their private school counterparts even with no scholarships. Be aware of that. It is also cheaper to live in Cincinnati after the freshmen year when compared to many other US cities. For example, my daughter is paying $2,000 a Year to share a house. She has her own room too and internet and cable. This $2,000 is all inclusive of utilities too.

hey, I got in too! when do we get our scholarship info?
got into ID Product track

I think scholarships are infromed via mail. UC's website said invitations will be mailed out between 12/15 and 12/30. That means you might receive it any time now. (If we ever get one... I wonder how good you have to be to receive that)
