@JohnAdams12 Sorry forgot to post that, the amount that doesn’t have to be paid back is $19,712 for me.

Ramen, that would be considered very good, I believe, for a UC school.

Dear Kim,

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the University of California, San Diego – congratulations on your admission to Muir College as a major in Cognitive Science!

blehhh UCSD gave me way worse financial aid than UCLA did

Thanks JohnAdams12, how about you?

retro, how much worse?

you would think that all the UC schools would give similar financial aid, wouldn’t you?

I read where last year UCSB was giving the best financial aid

Congratulations everyone that got in! And I most definitely feel for all of you that were not as fortunate. Rejection is always unbelievably tough to deal with but it’s just more adversity that you have to work through. You’ll be a better person for it. It sounds corny but it’s true lol

And figuresk8ting I knew you’d get in! lol

I got in too  Got into Warren for Comp Engineering, now I gotta visit SD and I and see which will suit me best. I was leaning toward UCI but I don’t know now after being accepted lol Thank God!

can you change your major after you get in? i got into Revelle with a Literatures in English major.

Accepted to Earl Warren in Chemical Physics!

@spacedog & figuresk8ting: congrats! i was really rooting for you guys! great job!

@JohnAdams12:

about $4,000 less!

I got in to Marshall for Political Science/International Relations!!!

Accepted! I already knew because they called me, but it’s online!! Whoo!!

Got into Eleanor Roosevelt College, should be a good time :D

Accepted to Revelle!

Accepted as well! Thurgood Marshall College!

Hey, I have a really really hard decision to make. I can either go to ucsd earl warren for comp sci -or- I can go to ucr and get a masters in comp sci in 5 years (special accelerated program), plus i got $5000 chancellor’s scholarship to ucr. so ucsd is just for the “prestige.” But current college students are telling me that “prestige” doesn’t matter in this case b/c ucr saves time and money and exempts me from applying to grad school.

So which one should I pick and why??? ><"

101921 what you have to look at is what level of graduate school you will be able to get into by going to UCSD, then compare it to UCR graduate school.

For instance if the UCSD education gets you into Stanford for a Masters degree, then there really isn’t much of a choice is there?

Accepted into Warren college…

Accepted to Muir! I’m so happy! :D

Accepted for Comp. Engineering at Muir! =] Congrats to all who made it.
