I just got my phone call fifteen minutes ago! I am still freaking out! Come here if you got in, and say a little bit about yourself. I'll start:

Hometown: Staten Island, New York
Possible Majors: Physics and Philosophy

When I calm down I will add more about myself.

hey josh
i received an early write letter today. yes i'm very excited!
i live in a suburb right outside Seattle, WA
i'm hoping to double major in cell biology and music
are the students responsible for paying transportation to the Preview program?

Janerdoo--I believe that students are. If that's a problem with you, talk with admissions and I wouldn't be surprised if they worked something out with you.

Josh--I'm a philosophy major and it's an absolutely spectacular department. The selection and breadth of the courses offered are amazing, and they are all very small (I believe there is only one class offered that is over 20 students). The average class size is around 10 students and there are 3+ tutorials offered in just that department alone. Furthermore, if you're interested in going abroad jr year, Oxford has one of the best philo programs in the world and the Williams-Oxford program is fantastic.

Wave Hello everyone, my name is Nat. I am currently living in Texas, but as neither my personal nor political beliefs are fitting well here, I'm ready to get out! The change in intellectual climate will balance out the change in weather-climate, I hope.

I received my Early Write letter yesterday. I know I'll definitely be studying biology and perhaps also double-majoring in English, so Williams is definitely one of my top-choice schools. (Not to mention my parents' personal dream school, but that's a seperate matter. :) )

I'm pretty sure I'll be attending the two-day Preview. Janerdoo, if I'm remembering the flyer correctly, students are responsible for paying their own transportation - it's just the lodging and meals that are free, and I think the bus ride from Albany (but not NYC) airport to the campus.

I live in CT near the NY border. Got the letter last Friday and possible majors... I'm still thinking. It'll probably be History, Area study, Psychology (no not all three at once!! Just one!) and I was thinking of doing a double major, but i'm not sure what.... Well, I have plenty of time to make up my choice. I definitely want to do my share of music courses and probably art or photography courses too.

May-Lieng.
crib: northern VA.
early write/call came a coupla days ago.
possible majors (thank goodness it's actually not weird to triple-major at williams): neuroscience, african-american studies, spanish.

I actually go to school in New Jersey (a private school), and I commute.

I visited Williams today, and I must say that the classes are very impressive. I sat on Philosophy 101 (Moral and Political Philosophy), and it was great! For that hour and a twenty minutes, students had lively debates on topics ranging from social security to murdering orphans (We were on the topic of self-interests, and it is in no one's desire, outside of moral constraints that is, to protect an orphan).
