Hello,

When filling out the common app for college applications, I estimated the number of hours I spent in a certain club at my school. However, after submitting my common app I realized I may have vastly exaggerated the hours logged. (80 hrs difference)

This was not my intent. I tried to take into account club events and such. Thus, even though my club has x hr meetings y times a year, I added some hours to the hrs/wk component to make up for it.

After some thought, I realized that even though I changed the value by a couple additions, the changes add up in the long run, and may have exaggerated my commitment by approx. 80 hours.

Key word is "may", since I don't log my hours when volunteering for the club, so I don't actually know the exact time I spent with this club.

Is this a big deal? If I get accepted and they find out, will they rescind me?
