What happens if...

Hi!

I just submitted my UMich application early this morning. I only realized just now that I slightly overestimated my participation (approximate hours per week) in a club/EC ... this is the only mistake I have made ...

Should I contact Michigan about it, or is this "mistake" too trivial?
Will it affect my chances of admission?

Thanks! I'm just pretty concerned because they warn us about making mistakes on college apps.

They're not going to be picky about that. I don't think you should be worried about that at all. If it's really off, then you might, but it doesn't seem like a big deal whatsoever.

Thanks alot!

It's more like this:

I estimated that I'm in this volunteering club for 3hrs/wk for 35wks/yr (about the length of a school year). However, I wasn't thinking properly, because in total I volunteered about 50 hours for the club, so really I should have marked about 1.5 or 2hrs/wk. It's not like I did it intentionally, but I really should pay more attention.

I don't think I would be that concerned given what you said. You can always contact them.
