CRAP! I realize that I miscalculated the wrong number of hours
forgetting that number of hours is multiplied by a number of years
until I submitted. After signing up and putting info Parchment.com (my chances website)
I realized that I put double the number of hours than I had intended
Just submitted most today. Should I e-mail the colleges informing them of my mistake?
What's a good solution?

It’s commonapp i submitted the hours to so it went to like 12 different colleges today.

You should definitely e-mail all of your universities with this information. They might just pass over it, but if they catch you in a lie, you have the proof that you actually tried to correct it. It’s definitely better to be safe than sorry. Good luck with everything. :)

agreed, it’s nothing to worry about if you just email them to let them know you calculated your hours incorrectly.
