ktsai91: Does the professor know about your autism? Assuming she doesn’t, I believe you are in the wrong. As previously posted here, sometimes people over react because a whole lot more is going on with them. It sounds as though the doctor’s appointment was urgent since she did not mention it when she asked you to go to the writing lab. Urgent doctors’ appointments are usually not good news. If you can’t stay completely in control if you do a face to face apology, write a note with some outside guidance which clearly states you realize you were in the wrong for calling her out in class and for not using “Professor” when you said her name.

Good news everyone! I wrote a letter to my professor saying that I was sorry and things like that, and put it in my professor’s mailbox this morning. Later in the day, she saw me and thanked me for what I wrote to her. She forgives me and accepts my apology! I’m gonna find a time to see when she could help me with my research paper.

I’m glad to hear it. Good luck with your paper.

Thanks for the update, ktsai91. I’m glad that things worked out for you.

It’s great that you guys are on good terms again =)
