<p>However, unless this school is a top, top school, it really doesn’t matter that they’ll receive a set of scores that weren’t “stellar”. Those Dec scores are from the beginning of your junior year, so they should be lower. No big deal. Your best scores - your May scores - are what colleges WANT to use. Colleges don’t want to screw you…it’s a win/win for them to use your best scores.</p>
<p>Besides, it’s not as if you took the SAT ten times and the school got sent 10 sets of crazy scores.</p>
<p>Even if you sent all your scores, colleges usually just take the best score in each section to get the highest combined score. Even if you did poorly the first time around and better the second time, colleges like to see that you improved.</p>
