Hey guys, i accidentally sent all of my scores with rush shipping to two very competitive school. I want to remove one of my SAT II scores from the send, but the College Board offices are closed. What should I do?
I’d stop worrying about it because there is nothing you can do right now. And, there is probably nothing that can be done. Seeing a lower and a high score is not going to take you out of the running for a school that would have otherwise accepted you. So that is not a big issue.
But, there is a lesson to be learned here. You’ve been making mistakes-missed a deadline and then this. It would be good to identify what might be going on that is causing you such grief. Are you being too impulsive or not taking time to read things carefully or is anxiety interfering with your understanding what you are reading? Whatever it is, that is probably the more important issue here-not the fact you sent both sets of scores when you intended to only send one. Getting a handle on that will increase your chances of success once in college.
There is nothing you can do at all. It’s like mailing a letter - once it’s sent, you can’t unsend.
At the end of the day, if you’ve sent stronger scores, it won’t matter.
Alright guys, thank you @skieurope @lostaccount . I’ve been way too impulsive about this whole process, but I’m going to walk away from it and improve.
Good call Nellyone! It will serve you well to slow it down. Good luck with the process and education.
Not only should you slow down, but you should make notes (or a spreadsheet) of what needs done, what has been done, and the date it was done. That would reduce errors and give you a record to refer back to.
