Accidentally sent interview request to admissions counselor using unprofessional email?

There’s nothing inappropriate or vulgar in the email I used; the address is actually a nonsensical anagram with no words at all. But it’s still one of my “personal” emails, and not my “school” or “professional” one that contains only my real, legal name. I’ve communicated with the admissions office using that email before. How concerned should I be? Should I mention it and apologize? Switch to my professional email in my responses? Keep using the personal one?

As long as you signed your name or otherwise identified yourself (applicant ID #), then I would not worry at all.

I hope it wasn’t something like “iwantabugatti98” or the like.

@CT1417 I did.

@mohammadmohd18 It’s an anagram that probably isn’t evident to anyone unless they really wanted to analyze it. Something like wabantigutiat.

As long as it isn’t anything vulgar it is fine.

My fault: I didn’t see you describe it as an anagram in the OP.
