I gave the SAT 2 on Dec 7th in 3 subjects -Math, Literature and Physics. I had enrolled in Physics, but it was a half-hearted attempt. I focused more on Math and Lit, but gave physics anyway.

Due to a lot of confusion (I rescheduled the test, the collegeboard site didn't show any score requests,) I was under the impression that I had not asked for the scores to be sent to any colleges.

The physics test was a disaster, as I pretty much expected; I got a 590 (the others went well - Math: 790, Lit: 710), but then I found out my tests had been sent to 2 colleges - Maryland College Park and UPenn!!

I know UMD doesn't consider SAT II, but I'm pretty worried about Penn.

I know I should try and communicate and explain my score, but I have no idea what to say. I fear coming across as irresponsible, or worse, as incompetent. I don't know what to do!! Help!

Doesn’t that “all tests” only apply to the SAT I and ACT, because they only require any 2 SAT II subject tests? So if you took more than 2, shouldn’t that not be required?

They probably can put two and together that you haven’t taken physics in a while. And again, they only take the top scores you send, I would try to let it go. This sort of thing can happen with perfectly strong students (I have a 2390 SAT single sitting and one of my SAT IIs was a 620 Math II, if it makes you feel any better)
