<p>they’re not random, everybody gets them (replace “sixth” with whatever college). i’m surprised you didn’t see them on your fall semester bill?</p>
<p>each one pays for the subsized/often free events around campus except for the rec fee which is for free use of the gyms/nats/etc.
no they’re not avoidable.</p>

<p>you should’ve noticed those charges a long time ago, they’re nothing new or specific to you alone. they’re mandatory, as stated.</p>
