There are several varieties of accounting majors now in the Pamplin College of Business. You should check out the website and look at the sample courseload each year for the majors.

Which one do u suggest? What are the varying types

Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful

The different paths you can take are all listed and described there.

Any advice?

I’d suggest that you do some preliminary research on accounting on your own. I know you are deciding between accounting and biology. So you should do some leg work and independent thinking about what you are good at before making decisions that are further down the road. If you decide to pursue an accounting degree you should wait to decide on the specific specialty until you’ve taken the beginning accounting classes, and have investigated possible career paths and spoken with professors. There are many good choices.
