I took the practice test(pre-test) on college board's SAT Online Course because I am taking it again on the 26th.

My writing went from 590 to 690
My Reading went from 630 to 730
and My math stayed at 720.

I'm just wondering how accurate this is, and if I can really expect to improve by 200 points on the SAT. I did put in some practice on the writing and critical reading because they were my weaker areas.

Here's the issue. You took the same test twice, therefore your score was bound to increase by that amount b/c you saw the same questions twice. However, if you took another test, that would indicate as to your actual improvement due to studying.

It is not the same test twice. The first scores I am referring to the first time I took the SAT. An official test where the scores counted. I officialy have 1940

I am planning on taking it again so I started practicing and took the practice test. The improved scores are from an online College Board SAT Practice Test and I got 2140

I guess I wasn't clear on my original post. The first scores are from my SAT. The second are from a recent practice. And I am taking the SAT on january 26th.

those are both me by the way

Test your assumption: Take a real SAT.
