How accurate are practice tests from College Board?

As accurate as your going to get. :)

During my practice tests I would average the 'range' of scores the big blue book gave me. I felt that it was pretty accurate. Besides the math, which I always do better on during the test, the verbal and writing remained pretty consistant.

After taking the march SAT I ordered the actual SAT to go over my mistakes. Keep in mind I got a 530 on CR in march. Before I looked at the march test (which the collegeboard sent to me for a fee), I studied hard cause I knew I needed to get my CR score up at least 70 points. Then when I was ready I took the practice March SAT and got a 620 on CR. In June, when I retook the SAT, I got a 620 on CR. So that was EXTREMELY accurate for me. So you might want to consider doing that. You can only buy the march SAT at the moment. The collegeboard isnt selling may or june's SAT. So my point is, if you want the most accurate test, buy the march SAT from the college board and take it when you feel ready. Good Luck.

It is only anecdotal evidence, but I think people do better on the actual test than on the practice tests.

I took 3 practice tests and received a 1720, 1840, and 1860.

On the actual test I got a 2060 the 1st time, I'm taking it again in October.
