ACES-Waiting List/ Classes

Hi everyone. I’ve got a question. I’m doing FOCUS and I hope to take a Spanish 100 level class for my one other class. When I put the classes in my primary bookbag, many of them are already full or on a waitlist. So here are my questions:

When a class is in the primary bookbag is that basically reserving the class? (i.e. if the maximum number of people in the class have the class in the primary bookbag, is it considered full)

Are more sections of a class ever added?

IF I’m on a waitlist, is it common to get in the class? When would I find out?

Thanks in advance.

No primary bookbag means pretty much nothing its just there so that when u do register you can have ur classes ready basically. A class being in ur bookbag changes nothing regarding the actual enrollment.

Yes, last semester another section of a math class I was in got added but I think its rare.

It depends. For a language Id be inclined to say its less likely but you never know. You;ll find out if you ask the professor or wait it out during the first two weeks of class(drop/add period) to see if people drop and spaces opens up.

Thanks for your answers. But, one more question: If everyone just has classes in their bookbags for now, how can classes be filled up already?

All the upperclassmen prob registered already b4 us

yeh, we got to register back in april.
