Aces

There was a question of who enters ACES, and what it is. For more information, please see the UConn website: University of Connecticut

Aren’t there any students who participated in aces and can tells us how they explore careers?

Mainly if you have like 3 careers you want to check out.

The way you can “explore careers” is by taking related classes and by participating in internship and shadow opportunities. This is important for any student, even those who are “absolutely sure” of what they would like to do. Do not feel rushed to pick a major, and realize that if you pick one it is absolutely acceptable to change it.

So how’s the advising will it be with someone who been through ACES or just some guy in the major you’re most interested in?

There are ACES advisors, but almost every professor is approachable, and you can ask them about the field.
