Man...i'm worried more than ever now. i look at other stats and I realize that I have a huge weakness in my app. honors and summer programs!! All I did over the summers was...
summer after 9th grade: chemistry honors at LSU and 2 independent study courses
" " 10th grade: Spanish I independent study, volunteer program, NYLF on medicine
" " 11th grade: Spanish II independent study, Business ind study, tennis camp

and i have no prestigious science or math awards. just some science olympiad individual awards.

wow...looking at it now, i realize how weak it is. but i guess all i can do is hope for the best.
yeah i know it's too late. just sitting here and waiting for DECEMBER!!!
is neone else worried?

All I have done over the summers is work at a summer camp...

I think you shouldnt worry, Im not, even though I should. The people on here are not representative of the population and applicant pool as a whole

Among a couple other things (none really standoutish or "prestigious") I wrote "having fun" and "sailing and hiking." Don't worry! They want you to show that you're not a mindless robot during the summer.

all I did was 80 hours of community service. It's a blink of an eye compared to people here who did 3297 hours in total tutoring illiterate kids in Congo or something.

hahaha...thanks ya'll. your comments made me feel better. whatever happens, it's ok. even if i get rejected, it's not the end of the world.
haha this is random and off-topic but i just thought of it. do any of ya'll say "ya'll"? is that really just a southern thing? i feel like i'd get annoyed if i had to say "you guys" or something every time.
