acknowledgement letter?

How long after you submitted you app did you get the "application acknowledgement letter and email that contain your Admissions ID"? b/c i want to submit the app fee through the Status Check by the 1st.

My son submitted his app on Sept 24 and he got that acknowledgment letter on Sept 28.

does anyone have problem submitting the app fee online?
i've kept submitting since dec 1st, but it doesnt work at all!

to your question,
i submitted my app online, and got my letter few days later through email.

thanks for the replies. still waiting for the email....

This is such a weird weekend in the U.S. and I wonder if we should all allow some extra days for when we expect mail back. Right now it's the New Years Eve weekend, which will actually run from Sunday night through Monday (a national holiday). On top of that, with President Ford's funeral on Tuesday, there will be a government/postoffice holiday.
I have no idea how these reply-emails are generated but if someone has to come to work to open a switch to release things, well, these next three days are really shut-down in the USA.

kyky;
My son also applied to NEU.
It sounds to me that you application fee was accepted, but I can't be sure.
I'd contact NEU Admissions at "neuapphelp@neu.edu" and ask for confirmation.
They will reply. You have until 1/15 for RD, but don't wait.
I admit the Common App site regarding sending payments isn't easy to navigate and we're still struggling through whether his supplimental app was received at other colleges.

Thank you for your reply rskibum.
Why did it sound that my fee was accepted?
If it were, I wouldn't have been submitting the fee for the whole month. The payment system doesn't work for me.
They told me to send a check instead..but im not even in the states...
how would I send a check internationally?~
this makes me so worried..T_T

I was also wondering whether one's chances for merit scholarships will be affected should NU not receive the fee by January 1st b/c the site says "All students interested in being considered for merit-based scholarships are encouraged to apply by January 1." So would it be better to wait or send the check instead by tmr?

dont know what was wrong with the old credit card whose payment wasn't accepted online. but i finally could pay with another credit card.
i got a transaction number. does it mean they accept my payment?~
hope everyone's doing well~^^
