<p>The Northeastern status check requires an NEU ID which they say you get with your application acknowledgement letter. I applied over the weekend and have received no such letter. Does anyone know when these get sent or how long they take? I can wait; I just want to make sure there were no problems in receiving my application.</p>
<p>I applied on 9/29 to Northeastern and three other colleges. Northeastern was the last to respond - on 10/12 -with an email. I don’t remember getting a letter in the mail but I might have just forgotten. The email has a URL and the “NU ID” that you need to check your status. I applied so early that maybe they weren’t ready for me. 
But I wouldn’t worry if it takes a week or more for you to get the email.</p>
<p>I sent in my app on 10/24 and received my acknowledgement letter on 10/30, so it takes roughly a week.</p>
<p>Ok, so it seems normal for it to take a few days then. I’ll keep an eye out for it.</p>
