Act 27-30 or higher

i would really like a 30 or higher next time i take the act.
could you give me some tips or study strategies.
thank you

Just do lots of practice tests…

Take a practice test without time limitations, but mark where you were when the time would have expired. Check your answers at the end.

IF you got most of them correct, but didn’t get them correct in the time allotted, work on more practice tests to get the timing down.

IF you missed a fair number of them with or without time issues, see if you can zero in on what “meat” you are missing and brush up on the content. Then recheck by doing another practice test (or sections).

McGraw Hill seems to be a good book if content is an issue (but their practice tests are considered too easy by many). Barron’s 36 is a good time constraint book. The REAL ACT book provides good practice tests that were real.

I miraculously got a 31, but could have gotten higher, so don’t do what I did.

I got very little sleep the night before, and sleep is critical for that exam. Also, don’t try to pass a paragraph off as an essay. Tried that, got a 6.
