I live in NY so the only time I can't take the test in September so I have to take in October. The test date is the 22nd though which is kind of late considering applications are November 1st. I know the good thing about the ACT is that colleges don't have to see your score if you dont want them to. So obviously I would want to see what I got first and then send it to my early decision college if I like what I got. Is it possible to do this for october test when apply early decision?

You can take it in October, but there's a small risk it won't get there (according to Yale's website). It says that they "usually" get it in time with the October one.

You could always go to a neighboring state to take it. The only mid-Atlantic state offering it is Pennsylvania...

The October test date should be fine for Early Decision. On the other hand, you must rush your scores on the November test date if you didn't do as well as you hoped.
