ACT and SAT IIs

I don't know if this was asked before but I couldn't find another thread that exactly answers my question

For Harvard, if I just send in my ACT scores (34 comp)/writing, do I take to take the three SAT IIs and send them in a long with the rest of my SAT I scores?

I have a 2190 for SAT I, with pretty horrible SAT IIs, I don't really wanna send any of them in....

I thought you could just send in ACT scores in place of both SAT and SAT II scores, but that wasn't what it sounded like on the Harvard website

and what about other colleges regarding this rule generally?

The Harvard website Harvard College Admissions Office: Prospective Students clearly states that 3 subject tests are required.

What is the source of your confusion?

^ He is wondering if the ACT covers the SAT II's like it does at some other colleges (i.e. you can take either the SAT I and the SAT II's OR you can take the ACT without having to take any SAT II's).

I think Harvard requires 3 SAT II's no matter what, even if you do take the ACT.

You have to take three SAT II's no matter what, it is your choice of taking the ACT or the SAT I.

I think with Harvard, you have to send in your SAT IIs along with the ACT. Generally, though, most schools take the ACT instead of the SAT I/IIs. :)
