<p>Oh boy...another thread. Just wait. Someone on here will tell you that you just don't have the capabilities or didn't learn the info. you need for the SAT. LOL.</p>

<p>i got the same thingy on act. but i did lower than rickpaul on the SAT by 630 points. :)</p>

<p>What does the ACT have on it? I never heard of it until I came to CC a couple years ago (the old CC board).</p>

<p>I think ACT tests knowledge and what you've learned... it's an achievement test
SAT seems to be more logic and reasoning, after all it's called "apitude"
Either way, I got 34 math on ACT, 780 math SAT
24 reading, 630 CR</p>

<p>I guess I don't have reason then. Probably k-12's fault. I thought they changed the meaning of the "A" in SAT to something else.</p>

<p>the ACT is far more straightforward than the SAT, especially in math, and its better b/c it doesnt force you to memorize hundreds of possible vocab words.</p>

<p>that means SAT doesnt stand for anything anymore. it use to be scholastic aptitude test. then ppl like twinkletoes started complaining that its only a test for aptitude.</p>
