I am a junior in HS, and have always been interested in math and science. I tested into the best classes my school has to offer, and have preformed exceptionally in them. I have never gotten lower than an A in a math class, and have gotten only one B in one semester of a science class. I am even secretary of the stem club and am a part of a competitive student research program that works with a nationally-recognized research facility.

The problem is that my math and science ACT subs are a pitiful 26 and 23 respectively. I don't know of any colleges that will accept those scores for a math or engineering major. I have tried studying, and have found that I am bad at interpreting the graphs quickly enough. In the math section, I have trouble remembering the little parts of concepts I learned years ago. It really irks me to see people that I have consistently preformed better than getting 31+ composites without any work.

Should I throw the towel in with engineering and math? What else is there for a good student with my interests that has a bad ACT?
