<p>Do most people take the ACT + with writing?</p>
<p>I have to take an ACT test for a specific college, but it doesn't specify which one I should take</p>
<p>Take the ACT w/ writing. More and more universities are requiring it for admission. This year I lucked out because it's a transition year between all the tests and they are accepting both. For 2007 and beyond it looks like writing is going to be required.</p>
<p>If you take the ACT+writing you will be able to directly compare your scores to the SAT.....for your own information. Some schools will accept the ACT+writing in lieu of SAT. This may be of value because some students do very well on ACT and not as well on SAT. I'd definitely recommend taking the writing supplement.</p>
<p>By taking the writing it makes it look like you have more initative and that you are more motivated especially since the essay is optional. Unless you hate writing it is actually pretty easy so I would just go for it.</p>
