So, I took yet another ACT practice, got like at 28. How compeitive is your ACT score if applying to 'selective' colleges, not Ivy League, like GeorgeWash, American, U of Mich, Georgetown? Anyone know how much they take that into account? I'm taking the real ACT soon. I also heard that the SAT is going out of 'style'? Will that help me at any rate?

No. Colleges don't care whether you take the SAT or ACT.

Check the PrincetonReview.com colleges profiles to see how much they're weighted at the schools you listed.
