Act-feb 9-test Questions

i dont know.

the prob. problem, i said 11 because it said "guarantee" so it def. can't be 3.
"8 gr. 3 rd. 2 yw."

i dunno, is 11 wrong? what's reasoning for 12?

no it would be 12...because it's possible that you could pick 8 blue the first time, then pick 3 green, and then finally get to the red...8+3+1=12 for sure

11 wasnt an answer choice, i remember looking for it because i thought it was the right answer but then i looked at the ? and realized it was 12

you pick 8 gr, then 3 rd. then 1 more to certify it's yellow

oh, and i have AIM pm me if you want it. (i've got gtalk too, which is a lot better)

oh darn. are you kidding me?! I added wrong.....

if you have aim invite yourself to chat room "Feb ACT"

yeah i know it's ugly... btw, let's bring back the blue yellow red one in the science.
it said DECREASING order, not increasing

umm.... i dont even remember guarantee being in the queston sigh

wow. ACT fooled me on a stupid question.

uhhh can someome please invite me?!
idk how to do it on my aim...
i'm
stockguru92 (same as CC)

I put red, yellow, blue....spending like 3 mins on it....my curiousity took over rather than skipping it

Anyone remember number 40 on the science section??? And, what was number 59 on math?

if you give clues on 59 then might remeber

Yall please list any that you remember on the math section.

-Thank You

lol the square one......
hypothenuse = 16, then what is each side.....i put 11.3

yea it made the triangles 45/45/90s and you had to divide 16 by radical 2.

Any one remember this one math question. It was really confusing wording and it had to do with f(x) stuff which I'm terrible at.
Anyway it was like about selling toys and then they were gonna double the price. something like that

did anyone else say it would be f(2y)?

And did we ever clear up whether it would be "all i've done is grow up" or "all i've done was grow up"

I put 2f(y)
It was a vertical stretch (you have to know your transformations)

I'm sorry spaz, could you explain that more? this was always the thing i messed up on practice and the explanations in the books didn't help.

I just remembered more math questions. There was a proof and you had to fill in step 4 of the proof. I think this is enough for people to know what i'm talking about. I had no idea what it was talking about. What did people say for the answer.

Also, there was another one that said triangle ABC was =(with squiggle on top) to triangle KLM. Knowing that, you could know what? that angle BCA is = to angle LMK?
