ACT - Good Composite Score, Bad Science Subscore!

The best composite score I got was a 32 with pretty good subscores (around 33 to 34).
…But for the science sub-score, I got a 27.

The problem is, I’m planning to apply as a Bio/Health major and I’m wondering if a 27 on the ACT Science section would be seen as a HUGE negative factor. Plus, I can only send in ONE score (can’t superscore) because I’m applying to UC schools. However, I did take high level science courses and I’ve also taken the Biology E/M subject test.

Would this ACT score on my application be seen as “trash-can” worthy? Or would it be okay to send to the UC schools?

Shouldn’t be a problem. Science on the ACT is reading graphs.

For the ACT your composite score is what matters
